Why OZGRADS?
OZGRADS exists because finding work in Australia is harder than most international students expect before they arrive. Our founder went through it himself as an international student, then spent more than ten years delivering official work-readiness programs across the international education sector. Everything we teach comes out of that experience, the real hiring process as it runs day to day.
We work with students and graduates directly through workshops and coaching. We partner with universities on graduate employability. We work with councils and governments on economic participation and skills utilisation for migrant communities. And we work with employers who need job-ready graduate talent.
What sets OZGRADS apart?
A resume can be perfect and the person holding it can still be struggling. Months of silence from employers wears down your confidence, and family expectations sit on top of that. Very few programs address this side of it.
Ours do, because our founder is a certified master practitioner of NLP and coaching, with a psychology-informed approach to the pressure students carry. So a student coming through our programs learns the practical side, how to read a job ad, how to write for this market, how interviews here are decided. They also get real support for the pressure they carry while they do it. We've seen capable students give up, exhausted, when their applications were never the problem.
Our Mission
Thousands of graduates finish their degrees in Australia every year and fall into the same gap. They apply for months and get very little back, without knowing what's going wrong or how to fix it. For international students the gap is wider, because hiring here works differently to how it works back home.
Our mission is to close that gap through employability, and to start before graduation, not after. We teach students how hiring in Australia actually works. We partner with universities to strengthen graduate employability and employment outcomes across their cohorts. We work with councils and governments to help skilled migrants find work in their local economies and stay in their communities. And we work with employers who need capable international graduates, work-ready from day one.
Meet the Founder
Nazrul is the founder of OZGRADS. He came to Australia as an international student himself, so he knows the job search from the inside, the silence after applications, the visa pressure, the feeling of having no network to call on.
He spent more than a decade delivering official work-readiness programs across Australia's international education sector, working with hundreds of students and earning recognition for teaching excellence along the way. He's a qualified facilitator and a certified master practitioner of NLP, and he brings a psychology-informed approach to the pressure students carry while they look for work.
That mix is the reason OZGRADS works the way it does. The practical side comes from years inside the system. The human side comes from having lived it.
